Some Strange Sentence
This fun, yet simple game is played by 2 to 4 players.
Some random letter is chosen --you could pick a letter from a book or newspaper, for example, or ask an adult.
The players then proceed to write down a gramatically correct sentence in which every word starts with the chosen letter. Each word may be used only once.
After two minutes, the game stops, and each player's sentence is read out aloud.
If the sentence is correct (i.e., grammatical and complete), the player earns one point for each word.
An example of a correct sentence could be:
"Susan saw some strange sentence start," said Sarah.
which would earn eight points.
The first player who has earned, say, fifty points wins the game.
